We are aware of the impact of leather production on our world. All our leather products have a very long life span and do not waste water in the daily wash. They are a very durable alternative to regular fabric or plastic products. We only work with tanneries that use highly regulated modern tanning techniques and organic methods such as vegetable tanning and various forms of completely chromium-free tanning. We guarantee that all our products are made by hand in our own factory in the Netherlands.
Yes! The leather we use for Bolster & Benefield is treated with a waterproof coating which not only enriches the color but also maintains the sustainability of the leather.
Yes, you can clean your Bolster & Benefield product. Just use a lukewarm cloth and some natural soap. Do not put your products in the washing machine. Also do not use harsh chemicals like saddle soap, furniture polishes, cleaning solvents or oils.
The Hantler is made from genuine leather.It’s processed in organic methods such as vegetable tanning and various forms of completely chromium-free tanning.
Our leather is finished with a waterproof coating, however it is possible that especially oiled leather, completely soaked leather and leather with bright colors may leave marks on light-colored clothing. A protection spray can help prevent stains on your clothes.
Weather exposure and general usage of bolster & Benefield products makes the leather become more beautiful and start to come alive. To keep your product in good condition and reduce dehydration of the leather you can apply our leather conditioner. Apply a thin layer of the leather cream every once in a while and rub it in gently with a soft cloth. When your product gets wet, do not let it dry under heat. You will receive a care guide with your order. You can find leather conditioner in our webshop.
We have different colors of leather including some limited editions every once in a while. If you are looking for a specific color, please contact us without obligation via the contact form. Additional costs may be charged for special colors.
Our maximum shipping time is 2 weeks without engraving. Our shipping time with engraving depends on how fast the digital sample is approved by you. We aim to have your product with you in 2-4 weeks either way.
We ship internationally from Holland. Not sure if we can ship to your country? Contact us via our contact form.
All orders over €250 are shipped for free within the EU.
For all other orders we rate shipping costs. You can check your shipping costs by entering your country at the checkout page.

When your order is packed and shipped, you will receive a tracking link via email to safely track your order.
If applicable, the recipient is responsible for all customs and import taxes that may apply. Please check this before you order.
Unused and undamaged items can be returned in the original packaging and refunded within 30 days. We do not accept returns on items that have been used or personalized. We request that you read our refund policy for any terms and conditions that apply.

No, it’s an additional option. You can order all products without engraving or personalization. If you’ve decided you would like to get it engraved at a later date (after a year for example) you can reach out to us to discuss the possibilities and prices.
After you have uploaded your file with your personal design or company logo, a member of our team will check it. We’ll send you a free digital sample first via e-mail. Once you approve this sample and are happy with the design we start to create your Bolster & Benefield product. (Note: we only sent a digital sample to the orders where you upload a logo or image not for the text/name engraving)
Preferably a vector-based image file, such as a PDF file. We will personally check your file to see if it’s suitable for engraving on your Bolster & Benefield product.
If you don’t have a vector file, upload the best and highest-quality file you own. We will be in contact with you about the options and possibilities.
To help you understand what is and isn’t possible in logo engraving we ask you to try thinking in black and white (monochrome). We can only engrave in one color. If you have a logo that consists of multiple colors please contact us and we will show you the possibilities.
Please make sure your file is delivered to us in the highest possible resolution. The background doesn’t have to be transparent.
We aim to send you a digital sample within 4 business days. We check the files ourselves, which can sometimes lead to a longer waiting time.
