Article 1 | Who We Are
Bolster & Benefield is located at Belgiëstraat 31, 5171 PN Kaatsheuvel, the Netherlands. We are registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) under registration number 63358832. We are the data controller responsible for processing your personal data.
Article 2 | What Data Do We Use?
Below, you will find an overview of the personal data we process, why we process it, the legal basis for processing it, and how long we retain it.
We process your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, telephone number, any company name and associated Chamber of Commerce details, financial and purchase information, and any other data necessary to provide our services to you as effectively as possible. This may include names, text, or logos you wish to have engraved to personalise your purchase, as well as social media account details. We use this information to ensure your satisfaction throughout the term of our agreement. We retain this data for up to seven years after the end of our agreement.
We maintain a portfolio on our website and social media channels to showcase previous work to potential customers. This portfolio may include photographs of products made for you, together with your name or social media username, provided that you have not objected to this when entering into the agreement. We retain these photographs in our archive indefinitely, unless you request their removal.
For invoicing and financial administration purposes, we process your name, any company name and associated Chamber of Commerce details, billing address, email address, telephone number, order number, invoice number, purchase date, and payment details. Without this information, we cannot process your payment. Under our legal obligation to the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration, we are required to retain these records for seven years. After this period, we will anonymise your data.
If you unfortunately have a complaint about our services, we will process your name, email address, telephone number, order number, and the details of your complaint to find the best possible solution. We use this information to ensure the proper performance of our agreement. We will delete complaint-related data once the complaint has been resolved.
We have a legitimate commercial interest in using certain personal data for marketing purposes. We process your name, email address, postal address, and social media account details for direct marketing and social media marketing. We will delete this data as soon as you unsubscribe from our newsletter or indicate that you no longer wish to be contacted by us.
To operate and optimise our website, we use analytics and retargeting services. We have a legitimate commercial interest in analysing your browsing behaviour and related data to assess and improve our services where necessary. We track your use of our website using Google Analytics and the Facebook Pixel. We are subject to the data retention periods established by these third parties.

In addition, Facebook collects audience statistics through a first-party cookie. This information allows us to target advertisements more effectively. These cookies remain active for as long as we have the Pixel installed. However, the data collected by Facebook through this cookie is provided to us in anonymised form.
To enable customers to leave reviews about our services, we process your name or company name, website, and the content of your review. When you submit a review, this information becomes visible to us. We may publish reviews about our services on our website based on our legitimate commercial interest. We will remove reviews when they are no longer representative of our business or when you request their removal.
If you wish to contact us through our website, we ask for your name and email address, with your telephone number being optional. When you submit the contact form, this information becomes visible to us. We delete contact form submissions once your enquiry has been resolved, unless the enquiry results in an agreement.
Finally, to provide you with a personal account following an order, we process a password. We store this password in encrypted form in combination with your email address and/or username. This is done to prevent security fraud. We retain these account details until you delete your account.
Article 3 | How Do We Obtain This Data?
